An exciting addition to San Jose’s SoFA district just got the green light from San Jose’s Planning Department.
Last week, the City granted a Site Development permit to the Core Companies’ SparQ development, an innovative building designed to be a creative tech venue for residents. Featuring 105 studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments over approximately 3,300 square feet of ground floor retail space, the development will also have unique outdoor and rooftop common spaces perfect for both socializing and creative collaboration.
SparQ makes it easy to walk, bike or take public transportation; That’s why it’s been pre-approved for GreenTrip Platinum Certification, a badge of honor for those developments using cutting-edge strategies to reduce driving and cut greenhouse gas emissions.
There’s much more—a smart living environment connected by the Internet of Things and a potential partnerships with local artists.
